To sleep, or not to sleep...

If I had the choice, it would definitely be to sleep.  However, apparently I am not in control of that area of my brain.  I wore myself out today with two Thanksgiving dinners, came home and put part of a puzzle together, watched an episode of Castle.  Then, deciding I should try and sleep, I made myself some bedtime tea that Norma had given to me today, did a little bit of reading of the new series I started (The Promised Land - A Pillar of Fire by David G. Woolley.  I'll let you know later what I think of it.)  and then I got ready for bed and tucked myself in.  Fifteen minutes later and without an ounce of sleepiness, I got back out of bed and thought I would tend to my blog.  My body, achy and exhausted, tells me to go to bed, but my thoughts won't rest.  I've tried tiring my eyes out, but I don't think that is working.  Paul and the kids have been asleep for two hours now.  If I were at home, I would try a hot bath next, but as it were, there isn't a tub stopper in Paul's apartment, so I guess some more web surfing and a little reading is in store for the remainder of my waking hours.

Here's hoping everyone else is sleeping and not up reading this!
